Watkins Glen Grand American 2003 Photos

Turns 8 and 9 at Watkins Glen

Turns 8 and 9: These two turns finish up the "boot" section or long portion of the track. Turn 8 is a tough downhill braking entry with a hard climb into turn 9, a tricky lefthander with no runoff room that brings you back to the Short Course. The pavement in the extreme foreground is the long straight used when the Short Course is run by NASCAR.
