Red Car, Red Sign: The Risi Competizione team ran into problems again at Mosport before the race began. They were down to one car, so Toni Vilander was moved into the #62 entry to replace an ailing Jaime Melo and pair with Gianmaria Bruni. Due to the driver change, they had to start last despite getting the GT pole time. They worked their Ferrari 430 GT up for a second place finish.
