Baltimore American Le Mans Series 2011 Photos

Aston Martin Lola B08 62 Driven by Romain Dumas and Klaus Graf in Action

Disastrous Weekend: You'd be hard pressed to find a better example of Murphy's Law than what happened to the Aston Martin Lola B08 62. First, they couldn't even complete their very first practice lap, suffering electrical problems. This necessitated the team having to rebuild the entire electrical system. By the time they were done, all the practice, qualifying, and warm up sessions were in the past. They started at the back of the grid for the race without ever completing a single lap on the brand new circuit, not even a slow one. Then, in the race, they ran into more problems, specifically with their brakes. Somehow, they finished, in 25th overall spot, seven laps behind the winner, and even recorded the race's fastest lap.
