Mont Tremblant Musings

1967: Mario Andretti leads every lap of both heats. Track configuration was 2.7 miles. 1968: Track configuration was 2.6 miles. 1984: Rick Mears nearly losses his feet in practice crash. 2002: First time a CART and F1 race takes place on the same track in the same year. 2006: Race red flagged after 6 laps due to heavy rain. Race resumed the following day. Race shortened by 5 laps due to time limit.
