His father finished second. 1992: Michael Andretti again leads every lap, but this time not from the pole, making it 206 consecutive laps lead. 1993: Paul Tracy becomes first Canadian to win a home country champ car race. 1996: Race halted two laps short of complete distance due to fatal wreck of Jeff Krosnoff. Becomes only third driver to win Molson Indy Toronto from pole. 2004: Race shortened from 97 laps to 84 due to time limit. 2005: Race shortened from 88 laps to 86 due to time limit.
